Mobile Hearing Testing

Mobile hearing testing booths
According to section 7.5 of the Occupational Health and Safety Regulation, employers of noise-exposed workers greater than 85 dBA must establish and maintain a noise control and hearing conservation program. The program must include annual hearing tests.
We are authorized by WorkSafeBC to conduct on-site testing, counselling, and submission of test results to ensure compliance with OHS regulation and minimize workplace injury.

During a test, the worker sits in a sound booth wearing headphones. A WorkSafeBC authorized technician sends a series of tones through the headphones and the worker signals whenever he or she hears the tones. The technician records the worker's responses and explains the results after the test is complete. Annual hearing tests will show changes in the worker's hearing abilities and can prevent noise-induced hearing loss from occurring or worsening.

TJ's Workplace Hearing Testing has been providing their mobile hearing testing services for over 20 years. We can service any sized company and help prevent noise-induced hearing loss in the workplace.
